Cul-noir creamer. As "cul" means "buttocks" in French and "noir" means "black," this is an old folk art item with a black (strictly speaking, brownish-brown) back, originating from Rouen in Normandy. It is made of reddish-brown or biscuit-colored clay, with a white surface and a deep candy-colored, almost black, back. The glaze is chipped around the mouth and on the underside. But there is no leakage after 24 hours of watering. And the item can enjoy this product if it is used without water for an extended period. It has a beautiful form and a hint of charm, so if you like it, please enjoy it.
